Zomaar ineens spinnen! And then I was spinning!

Buurvrouw Jos had laatst een heleboel mooie garens gekocht en ik ging even bij haar langs om te kijken wat ze ervan gemaakt had. Ook had ik haar doorgestuurd naar Corrie van de Kaardebol in Blokker, want ze wilde zelf ook weer gaan spinnen. Ik was dus gezellig aan het kijken hoe ze dat deed, en voor ik het wist zat ik zelf te spinnen! Wat heerlijk!

My neighbour Jos bought a lot of nice yarns a couple of weeks ago and I went by her house to have a look at what she had been making. I also recommended a spinning wool store to her because she wanted to take up spinning again too. So we had a great time watching her but before I knew I I was spinning myself, how wonderful!

Yvonne's nieuwe zomersokken / new summer socks.

Yvonne breide ook deze schitterende sokken met Lana Grossa "Meilenweit Cotton Stretch", een heerlijk wol/katoen sokkengaren voor de zomer met wat elasthan erin zodat de vorm mooi behouden blijft en de sok goed aansluit. Het patroon is van Cookie A. Prachtig, Yvonne!

Yvonne also knitted these beautiful socks with Lana Grossa "Meilenweit Cotton Stretch" yarn, a wonderful wool/cotton sock yarn for summer with some elasthan in it so it stays in shape and always fits snugly. The pattern is by Cookie A.

Dyed by Eva using Atelier Zitron Trekking undyed Wool/bamboo/Silk blend. Geverfd door Eva met Atelier Zitron Trekking ongeverfde Wol/bamboe/zijde mix.

Eva kwam vorige week langs en kocht een streng prachtige Trekking ongeverfde wol bamboe zijde. Ondertussen heeft ze deze streng omgetoverd tot deze juweeltjes met zijde verf van Dupont!

Last week Eva came in and bought a skein of beautiful Trekking undyed wool/bamboo/silk. In the meantime she has transformed it into these gems with silk dye by Dupont!
