Haak Graffiti in de haven van Hoorn! Yarn bombing in Hoorn's harbour!

Dit is niet zomaar haken. Dit is guerilla haken! In de haven van Hoorn, de stad waar onze winkel is, heeft haakster en bewoonster Eefke een paar geweldige kunststukken neergezet. En met een speciale reden. Momenteel wordt de kade verbouwd en met deze haakwerken proberen bewoners zoals Eefke aandacht te vragen voor het behoud van het karakter van dit unieke stukje Hoorn. De firma "Hoooked", van het Zpagetti garen, vond dit zo'n geweldig initiatief dat ze spontaan een doos Zpagetti garen afstuurden! En voila, het resultaat!

This not just crochet, this is guerilla-crochet-yarn-bombing! In Hoorn's historical harbour, the city where our shop is, crocheter and harbour inhabitant Eefke has made a serious effort and made some cool crochet pieces! The harbour is partially being rebuild and with these crochet projects inhabitants like Eefke try to get attention to keeping the unique character of the harbour. The Hoooked company (the Zpagetti yarn company) thought this was such a cool initiative that they spontaneously send a big box of Zpagetti yarn! And here is the result!

Kleine poesjes, Zpagetti en appeltaart! Kittens, Zpagetti and Dutch apple pie!

Mijn collega Martine had haar huiskamer gerestyled en dat kwamen haar hele jonge net geboren kittens even meevieren! Neeeeee, niet mijn gebreide Zpagetti-flessen!!!!!!
My colleague Martine had restyled her living room and her new born kittens also wanted to join in the party! Pleaaaase guys, not the knitted Zpagetti bottles!!!!!

Toen op een gegeven moment Martine een paar poesjes miste , ging ze overal zoeken. En verder zoeken.....En nog verder zoeken....om uiteindelijk de ovenlade open te doen en de poesjes in hun nieuwe favoriete plekje te ontdekken: de appeltaart springvorm!

Then when Martine missed some of her kittens she searched everywhere...and even further... to eventually discover the kittens in their new favorite snuggle space: the Dutch apple pie mold in the oven drawer!

The Zpagetti Express!

Gisteren weer lekker naar Hoooked in Den Haag getuft en weer een auto vol geladen met Zpagetti! Bijna 300 kilo! Allemaal weer flitsende kleuren! Ook weer nieuwe kleuren in de recycled plastic shoppers!

Yesterday I had planned a trip to The Hague, to the Hoooked company, and loaded my car up with almost 300 kilo's of Zpagetti. Lots of tasty colours! Also new colours in the recycled plastic shoppers!

Paris Hilton gespot in Hoorn met Zpagetti tas! Paris Hilton was shopping in Hoorn with a Zpagetti bag!

Paris Hilton liep zomaar over straat in Hoorn met deze door haar zelf gemaakte tas, ze is helemaal om en handwerkt nu dat het een lieve lust is! 

Paris Hilton was walking the streets of Hoorn with her home made Zpagetti bag, she is totally hoooked now!

Mooi gebreide creatie van Martine die zo uit de VT-wonen zou kunnen komen! Met 1 glazen pot of fles en 1 rol Zpagetti! We hebben deze week weer 250 kilo binnen gekregen....

Wonderful new creation by Martine. Using a big glass pot or bottle and 1 roll of Zpagetti yarn. This week we got another 250 kilo's in!

Zpagetti Shopper nr 2!

OK, we zijn verslaafd aan deze tassen! Dit is versie 2 en weer helemaal anders! Martine heeft met creatieve bijdragen van dochter Lente weer een hippe tas afgeleverd vind ik zelf! De zwarte tas als basis met Zpagetti in Anthraciet, paars en creme. Gaaaaaaf!!!

OK, we are addicted to these bags! This is version 2 and totally different! Martine made this really cool bag with creative advice from her daughter Lente! The black bag with Zpagetti in dark grey, purple and cream. Coooooool!!!!

Martine heeft haar creativiteit erop los gelaten en zie hier het resultaat! Haken, doorrijgen, omhaken... Je kunt er ontzettend veel kanten mee op en de tas is ook heerlijk licht!

Zpagetti varken / pig voor /for Luuk.

Dit geweldige speelvarken "Hamlet" uit Zpagetti boek 2: "Helemaal Hooked" is gemaakt door de trotse oma van Luuk. Het is een verjaarscadeau voor zijn eerste verjaardag en hij vind het helemaal geweldig! Zelfs op zijn kop is het heerlijk om tussen de poten te zitten!
Er zit ongeveer 5 kilo Zpagetti in, in een stoere jongenskleur natuurlijk! Super geslaagd, bedankt voor de foto's!

This wonderful Zpagetti pig "Hamlet" from ZPagetti book 2 was made by the proud grandmother of Luuk. It's a birthday gift for his first birthday and he absolutely loves it! Even upside down it is fun to sit between the legs! For this pig 5 kg's of Zpagetti was used, in a cool boy color of course! Looks great, thanks for the pictures!

Hartstikke hippe overgooiertjes voor jonge meiden. Van Zpagetti! Ik hoor je denken, dit is te zwaar en te stug, en toch dragen de kleinkinderen van de klant in kwestie deze creaties met veel plezier! Toch hartstike leuk!

Really cool little dresses voor young girls. Made with Zpagetti! I can hear you think, this is too heavy and too rugged but according to the grandmother who made these cool clothes the girls wear them with great pleasure! So nice!

Zpagetti collection update: +250 kg's!

Wat vind ik het heerlijk om weer te gaan shoppen bij Hoooked, weer een auto vol meegenomen! Allemaal weer hele nieuwe tinten en prints. Ook speciaal heel veel "neutrals" als grijzen, taupes, creme voor superhippe woonaccessoires. Maar natuurlijk ook een paar supermaffe knallende prints. Momenteel zijn we aan het experimenteren met kleden knopen en het ziet er veelbelovend uit!

I love shopping at Hoooked for new Zpagetti, filled up my car to capacity! All new shades and prints! Especially bought a lot of neutrals like greys, browns, cream for trendy home decorations. But also some very striking crazy prints. At the moment we are experimenting with latch hook rugs made from Zpagetti and it looks very promising.
