Van de week kwam er weer een zending uit Wales aan. Waarin onder andere 40 kleuren Jitterbug, het geweldige sokkengaren van Colinette. Naast hele flitsende multi's ook hele mooie rustige tinten uit de Velvet en Dali kleurenseries. Ze liggen gebroederlijk naast de Hand Art strengen van Atelier Zitron.

We had another shipment from Wales this week. Including 40 colours of Jitterbug, Colinette's fabulous sock yarn. Sensational multicolours but also very stylish ones from the Velvet and Dali colour series. Lying next to the Hand Art skeins form Atelier Zitron. ( Just as fabulous)

New colours Noro Cashmere Island

We had three new colours of this luxurious yarn in and I instantly fell for this one. Blacks, greys, some red, green and white, love it!

We kregen vandaag drie nieuwe kleuren binnen van dit luxueuze garen en ik viel meteen voor deze kleurstelling. Zwarten, grijzen, beetje rood, groen en wit, stoer en mooi tegelijk.

Jacky does it again!

Een van onze gewaardeerde klanten en medelid (Hoi!)van SnB Hoorn, Jacky, heeft weer iets heel moois gemaakt. Dit prachtige vestje van Rowan Felted Tweed dat ze bij ons kocht. Het is het patroon "Beatrix" van Kim Hargreaves. Naar Jacky's eigen zeggen " Bloody Blue Beatrix" maar zooo de moeite waard!!

One of our valued customers and fellow SnB Hoorn member (Hi!), Jacky has knitted something gorgeous again. This beautiful cardigan, made with Rowan Felted Tweed that she bought in our shop. The pattern is " Beatrix" by Kim Hargreaves. Jacky herself calls it " Bloody Blue Beatrix" but it's sooo worth it!

Besides knitting, gorgeous yarns and my yarnshop l also like to make video's and this is a combination of them. Featuring some celeb knitters too!

Naast breien, prachtige garens en mijn handwerkwinkel vind ik het ook leuk om video's te maken. Dit is een combinatie van deze hobby's. Ook met een paar bekende brei(st)ers zoals bv Sarah Jessica Parker.

Ik vond dit gewoon zo'n mooi gezicht, al die geweldige kleuren Drops Alpaca in een prachtige mand, wat een rijkdom...

Pure Cashmere.

Eindelijk gearriveerd... Uit de exclusieve "Linea Rossa" lijn van Lana Grossa presenteren wij je deze 100% cashmere "Solo Cashmere 110" Lana Grossa brengt twee diktes uit maar dit is de dunste, met dus 110 meter looplengte op 25 gram. We zijn al bezig met proeflapjes en volgens mijn brei-STER breit het als luxe fluweel...

Finally arrived. From the exclusive "Linea Rossa" line by Lana Grossa we present this 100% cashmere yarn "Solo Cashmere 110" Lana Grossa brings two versions, but this is the thinner yarn with 110 meters per 25 grams. We are already knitting samples and according to the lady that knits these, it knits like luxury velvet...

Marga's Noro Combo.

Onze nieuwe collega Marga nam een vrolijke tint Noro Silk Garden (87) en combineerde deze met een zwarte Merinowol (Big)van Lana grossa. Ze heeft het model zelf verzonnen. Mijn complimenten!

Our new colleague Marga took a happy shade of Noro Silk Garden (87) and combined this with a black merinowool (Big)by Lana Grossa. She designed the pattern herself. Looks great, Marga!

Kureyon Sock Cardigan by Lina 4 Grietje.

This Cardigan was machine knitted by Lina for her friend Grietje. Both valued customers of ours all the way from the Drenthe province. Kureyon sock is great for machine knitting!

Dit prachtige vestje is gebreid op de machine door Lina voor haar vriendin Grietje. Allebei gewaardeerde klanten van ons, helemaal uit Drenthe! Zoals je ziet is Kureyon Sock erg goed geschikt voor de breimachine.

Colinette Iona hat.

Deze muts heb ik van 1 streng Colinette Iona gemaakt. Wat breit dit garen lekker zeg. Vast omdat er wat zijde inzit. Het voelt gewoon lekker boterzacht aan. Het patroon staat op de banderol van een streng Iona...Laat de winter maar komen zou ik zeggen. Misschien past ie niet helemaal bij me maar ik vond het gewoon leuk om te maken. Volgens mij is dit wel herkenbaar? hehehe.

This hat I made out of 1 skein of Colinette Iona. It feels great to knit with, probably because of the silk that is in it. It feels so soft. The pattern is printed on the back of the paper band on each Iona skein. I am ready for a cold winter lol. Maybe it is not exactly my style but I found it just fun to make. I am guessing this is recognizable?
